Hawaiian Style Tofu Salad

1 block Firm or Extra Firm Tofu (one package)
1 can (Large) Salmon, Drained and Flaked
2/3 c. Chopped together Green Onion and Chinese Parsley

1/2 c. Island Princess Macadamia Nuts, all-natural, unsalted, chopped
1 Medium Chopped Sweet Maui Onion
1 Large Tomato
1 clove Chopped Garlic
1/2 c. Shoyu
1/2 c. Macadamia Nut Oil or Vegetable Oil
Fresh Ground Pepper to taste


Cut tofu into 1/2 inch blocks and arrange on a platter.
Dice tomato and spread on top of tofu.
Add layer of macadamia nuts then chopped onion then salmon (loosely broken up) on top of tofu.
Just before serving, heat and stir together in sauté pan 1/2 cup oil and chopped garlic.  Once the garlic browns, lower heat and carefully mix in shoyu and the green onion/parsley mixture.
Pour over the tofu, add ground pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
 
Can be a main dish serving 2 or as a side salad that serves 4
